Serves 5
Ingredients:
500g 5% Lean beef (for 5 portions)
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1/2 packet or green beans
1 heaped tsp of;chilli powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin
1 beef stock cube
1 wholegrain pitta bread
15g cheese (optional)
Method:
Brown the mince in a pot with a splash of water.Add the spices and cook for a few minutes. Add the tin of tomatoes, stock cube and green beans. Bring to the boil then simmer gently for 25 minutes. Once its ready take a 1/5 of the beef and spread it over the pitta. Cover with the cheese and pop under the grill for a few minutes. Serve with a leafy salad.
